Description of material

Organic cotton- GOTS

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a global standard and certification for processing textiles made from organic fibres, which includes both social and environmental criteria. GOTS-certified garments are always made from at least 70% organic materials. Organic materials are natural fibres grown without the use of chemical pesticides, artificial fertilisers or genetically modified crops. The standard enables the traceability of certified material from the field to the final product. To carry the GOTS ‘organic’ label grade, a textile product must contain a minimum of 95% certified organic fibres. The remaining portion of fibres must meet strict criteria per GOTS requirements. Our GOTS-certified products carry the logo together with our certification number on the hangtag/packaging. 'Organic', certified by Control Union, certification number: GOTS-30886

5 Simple Tips for Washing with Care:

Air your garments: Air your clothes between wears to reduce washes and maintain their shape and quality. Steaming is also an option.
Treat stains immediately: Stains are easy to get but hard to remove—act quickly. Spot-treat based on the stain type, then soak or wash promptly.
Avoid Fabric Softener: Fabric softeners contain substances that harm our environment and fragrances that can irritate the skin and cause allergies. They can also damage materials like elastane, and overuse may lead to pilling.
Don’t Wash Too Hot: Using the right washing temperature helps clean clothes without shrinking, fading, or losing shape. Wash at a lower temperature when the garments are only lightly soiled.
Tumble Dry Less: Many materials lose shape or shrink at high temperatures, so air dry or hang dry your laundry instead of using a tumble dryer.
